Cottage Accommodation
The ground floor accommodation comprises a fully fitted modern kitchen, with sea views, well-equipped with electric cooker, dishwasher, microwave, fridge/freezer, washer/dryer, toaster etc. plus a good range of crockery and utensils.
Lounge and Dining
Comfortable lounge/dining area, with electric fire, colour TV, video, DVD player and CD/radio/cassette player. The lounge windows overlook the sea and islands.
Bathroom
The bathroom has a modern suite with electric over-bath shower and a wall heater
Bedrooms
The upper floor comprises of 2 bedrooms, with modern pine furniture, 1 with double bed and the other with twin beds.
Facilities
The house is double glazed throughout and heated by storage heaters. There is a pay-phone in the lounge. The porch has space for outdoor clothing, boots etc. There is parking available for 2 cars at the side of the house. Outdoor lights onto the spacious decking in front of the house.
About Melvaig
Melvaig is a small community close to Gairloch. It is on a peninsula leading to the famous Rua Reidh Lighthouse and the area is well know for beautiful scenery and wildlife. Use our Google Map to see the location.
This picture was taken in November, you can also see a larger image of this Gairloch View. The autumn and winter months are an ideal time to visit Scotland, you get the place virtually to yourself.
